FYI - I like this article about branding and marketing….it’s going to make me change the way I use those two words…..

Absolutely. Saw that too. I see where Steve Jobs is coming from, but I don’t think they’re dirty words. Too many people just come at it from a very superficial standpoint, thinking that if they market it, people will buy it.

Like anything else, I think it requires those who are in the business to be thoughtful about what kind of work they are doing and the purpose of it.  I think that is what makes the difference between someone who is a true marketing professional and someone who just happens to “do marketing”.  

It’s funny how little intentionality people bring to their work these days.
